The Museumpark Rüdersdorf is on the site of the former limestone and cement works Rüdersdorf to the East of Berlin. The site spans a history from the 17th until the 20th century. The nearby limestone quarry is still active. The highlight of the site is a battery of shaft furnaces used to produce quicklime. They were in use for nearly 100 years from 1874 until 1967.
